AI-ASSISTED WORKFLOW AUTOMATION

I help environmental
consultants automate
the boring half of the job.

I'm Ethan — I build custom AI-assisted workflows for asbestos, mold, lead, IAQ, and environmental compliance firms. Envirops is how I work with you on job intake, lab tracking, document organization, photo logs, and draft report assembly.

I work directly with you — there's no team behind a curtain. I build around your existing templates, tools, and review process, and your certified pros still own every final decision.
ABOUT ETHAN

Envirops is me — Ethan Schneider — working directly with you

USC ISE · Apple Ops PM intern

Hi — I'm Ethan. I'm a USC Industrial & Systems Engineering student (AI Applications minor) and an incoming Apple Operations Program Manager intern. Envirops is the name I work under when I take on environmental-consulting clients.

I bring successful experience deploying AI & workflow automation for high-tech and Fortune 500 operations teams — including New Product Introduction and supply-chain work at 10x Genomics, AI research with ECRI Medical, and production-line automation at Kaizen Aerospace.

PREVIOUSLY

When you work with Envirops, you're working with me directly. There's no agency, no junior team, no offshore handoff. I scope the workflow, build the automation, and stay on the other end of an email when something needs to change.

I focus on the admin-heavy steps between field work, lab results, and final report delivery — and I'm currently speaking with asbestos, mold, lead, IAQ, and environmental compliance firms to understand where smaller teams lose the most time.

No AI hype. No replacing experts.
Just one operations-minded engineer
helping you spend less time on paperwork.

THE PROBLEM

Environmental work is already technical.
The admin shouldn't slow you down.

For many environmental consulting firms, the field work is only half the job. The rest is scattered across emails, lab PDFs, photos, chain-of-custody forms, spreadsheets, Word templates, and follow-up reminders.

That means hours of copy/paste, file chasing, report formatting, and job tracking before a final report is ready for review.

Envirops helps clean up the repetitive parts so your team can spend less time assembling documents and more time doing the work that requires expertise.

SERVICES

Workflow automation built for
environmental consulting

Here's where I focus — the operational tasks that happen before, during, and after a job, especially the repetitive admin that slows down report turnaround.

JOB INTAKE

Turn emails, calls, and forms into structured job records

  • Client name, site address, urgency, and scope extraction
  • Intake forms for missing information
  • Job folders and naming conventions
  • Quote and scheduling support
LAB RESULT PROCESSING

Reduce manual copy/paste from lab PDFs

  • Extract sample IDs, materials, locations, and results
  • Generate clean sample tables
  • Match lab results to field notes and chain-of-custody forms
  • Flag missing or inconsistent information for review
PHOTO & DOCUMENT ORGANIZATION

Keep every job packet clean and easy to review

  • Organize site photos by room, material, or sample ID
  • Create photo logs and report appendices
  • Store lab reports, field notes, COCs, and drafts in one place
  • Standardize file names and folder structures
DRAFT REPORT ASSEMBLY

Speed up the first draft without removing human review

  • Populate repeatable report sections
  • Create draft findings tables
  • Insert photo logs and appendices
  • Build around your existing Word/PDF templates
  • Prepare reports for certified reviewer approval
FOLLOW-UP & TRACKING

Keep jobs moving after the inspection

  • Lab status reminders
  • Client follow-up reminders
  • Report delivery tracking
  • Invoice/payment status tracking
  • Internal job dashboards
HOW IT WORKS

A simple process built around
your existing workflow

  1. 01

    Workflow Call

I start by learning how your firm currently handles intake, field notes, lab reports, photos, report drafting, and client follow-up.

  2. 02

    Workflow Map

I identify the repetitive steps, bottlenecks, manual copy/paste, and places where jobs tend to get delayed.

  3. 03

    Small Prototype

I build a focused automation around one workflow — lab PDF extraction, sample table creation, photo log generation, or job tracking.

  4. 04

    Human Review

Your team reviews the output before anything is sent to a client. The goal is faster drafting and cleaner organization, not removing professional judgment.

  5. 05

    Improve & Expand

Once the first workflow works, I expand into other areas like report assembly, follow-ups, dashboards, or intake automation.

HUMAN REVIEW

Designed to support certified professionals — not replace them

Environmental reports involve technical judgment, regulatory requirements, and professional responsibility. Envirops Automation does not replace certified consultants, inspectors, or final reviewers.

My setup is designed to assist with repetitive administrative work — extraction, organization, formatting, tracking, and draft preparation.

  • AI-assisted outputs are drafts, not final regulatory decisions
  • Certified professionals remain responsible for review and approval
  • Automations are built around your existing templates and process
  • Workflows can include QA checklists to flag missing or inconsistent information
  • Sensitive documents stay organized and traceable by job

The goal is simple: reduce the admin burden while keeping human review at the center of the process.

NEXT STEP

Want to talk through your
workflow with me directly?

15 minutes, no pitch deck. Tell me where lab results, photos, job tracking, or draft reports eat up the most time and I'll tell you honestly whether there's something worth automating. If there is, I'll scope it; if there isn't, you'll have saved an hour.

You'll get my calendar — not a sales rep's. — Ethan
